Privacy Notice

How we handle a project enquiry.

This notice describes the current website form and email workflow. It does not claim data uses or systems that are not part of that workflow.

01

What we collect

When you submit the enquiry form, we collect the details you enter: your name, optional company or brand, work email, optional WhatsApp number, product interest, optional estimated quantity, country or target market, optional customisation needs and project details. If you later reply by email with drawings or reference files, those files become part of the same business correspondence.

02

Why we use it

We use this information to respond to your request, assess product and sampling feasibility, prepare project discussions, and maintain correspondence for a potential or active business relationship. Where GDPR applies, this processing is used to take steps you request before a possible contract and, where appropriate, for our legitimate interest in responding to and documenting business enquiries. Submission starts an evaluation only; it does not create a quotation, order acceptance or delivery commitment.

03

Who processes it

The website is hosted on Vercel and the enquiry function uses Resend to deliver email. The message is then handled through our business email service by people who need it for enquiry review and follow-up. These providers may process technical and message data on our behalf under their own infrastructure and contractual terms.

04

Where it may be processed

Weehand operates in China and serves international buyers. Our hosting, email-delivery and mailbox providers may process data in other countries. This means an enquiry can be transferred outside the country or region where you submitted it.

05

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information only for as long as it is reasonably needed to assess and respond to the request, manage a potential or active business relationship, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal, accounting or record-keeping requirements. We do not publish an invented fixed period where the correct period depends on the project and those obligations.

06

Security and failed submissions

We use a server-side form endpoint and limit the information accepted by that endpoint. No internet or email system can be guaranteed completely secure. If the form reports that delivery failed, the entered details remain in your browser so you can try again; the page does not treat that attempt as a received enquiry.

07

Your choices and requests

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may ask what personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion, or object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority where you live or work. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and some information may need to be retained where a legal or business record-keeping obligation applies.

No marketing list or automated decision-making

Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a newsletter. The current site does not use the form for automated credit, eligibility or profiling decisions, and it does not currently run advertising or behavioural-analytics cookies.
